Regular Visit To Nazareth Ilit

Two HHCoalition representatives visited an elder’s house in Nazareth Ilit. Food parcels were given out to the residents.

After spending some time with Nachum, (one of the elderly people living at the residence) it turns out that Nachum has serious health problems in his legs and is required to have regular check-ups and therapy. He needs to have 15 of these therapy meetings and each of them costs 215 NIS (61$) plus transportation- taxi costs to get to the therapy.

After visiting Nachum, the representatives attended the soup kitchen coordinated by the Nazareth Ilit officials and HHCoalition contacts. More than a 100 elderly people were there as well as Leah Shemtov, an Israeli Knesset member.

HHCoalition representative greeted the guests and Russian/Yiddish music was sung by two artists during the diner.
