An event with over 200 people was held in Kiryat Gat in honor and to give aid to many disabled citizens of the city. Helping Hand Coalition representatives as well as the Kiryat Gat mayor and other city officials attended the event.
Wheelchairs for disabled children were given out in light of the spring Jewish holidays (Purim & Passover). The children receiving the gifts were extremely blessed as each wheelchair can reach anywhere between hundreds of dollars.
This was the first set of events that will be held in order to distribute the wheelchairs donated by GAiN Australia to children all over Israel. In the very near future, over 100 wheelchairs will be given out to children who need the wheelchairs the most.
